Sports Holiday
The Riviera of Romagna is not just about the sea and the famous sandy coastline, but also the little-known inland area that should prove extremely satisfying for cyclists. Riding around the countryside means the opportunity to choose the most suitable type of route at any time. All you have to do is choose which way to head on your bike: there’s the flat and easy coastal area, the plains, with roads crisscrossing fertile agricultural lands, and the hills, protected by ancient walls, fortresses and fortified villages that suddenly rise up from the plains to offer short yet demanding climbs. Lastly, there are also the mountains, where cyclists will find steep Apennine climbs and fresh air.
